Got 3 boiler jobs in next couple of weeks and the rep in our local merchant south Wales is pushing this boiler never fitted one always fit Vaillant but he's giving me a good deal on them so tempted. How are they are they a good bit of kit.

Quite nicely priced these. Used them as a slightly cheaper alternative to boiler we normally price for.

This is the boiler of choice for me as a landlord and fantastic price and support should problems arise

It is 99.9% the same as a Baxi platinum or Duotec. I've fitted loads of them. No more problems than the Baxi's.

fitted my first one yesterday....and like everyone says...no probs at all. very nice indeed.....wil be fitting more.

just one thing is happening,out of 200 fits had 5 fans fail,but they conveinantly fail in warranty,and dont seem to fail again???also the electrode sometimes bends but can be straitened out

hmm the custard wants a 5 year wntee, was going with a vaillant but only has 2?.
the other guy quoting gives 5 on the vaillant 831?

As Gas man says regards faults, only problem I've had is the fan's. Replaced a few on the Baxi duotec (same boiler). The 5 year warranty is worth taking advantage of!
