We live in NZ and have a Rayburn 480 D Mark 2.Its quite hard to find anyone in NZ who knows about these ovens and I keep reading lots about troubles people have with these ovens, and can't believe there has been no bad publicity in regard to the problems...as they aren't a cheap option to install. Our main problem is the boiler hardler runs.It clicks off , but not completely and then reignites and then about 45 minutes later it tripd the red button at the bottom off.We cannot run the cooker and boiler together of late as it billows smoke, but we can run them separately with no problems with smoke. The cooker runs up to temp really quickly and pushes out the boiler reset button....the one on the control panel. It rayburn itself seems to be getting really hot.
Can anyone help.....I rang Rayburn but they said that The company we bought the oven off were the service providers.I would have to say they have never had a rayburn engineer anywhere close to NZ and while we can get the boilers serviced....no-one has a clue re the Rayburn.:dead::freak::thinking: Its getting a tad frustrating so hope someone has an idea for me...I have been trying for 8 years now and am finally really frustrated.
