Removing existing strap on bosses

Few jobs come up. What do you guys do to remove a leaking strap on boss? (Whole part is leaking)

-remove section of pipe and redrill boss hole/put a 3 way boss in
- somehow remove the leaking strap on boss and clean up and put new on?

I used to be able to heat glued fittings up and put new ones in, however was few years ago since i did this.
Tried heating 1 up the other day and kind of damaged what i was doing lol even on a low heat lol

Any tips?

Chill and try gap filler.

After 10 minutes with the lid off this bad boy you won't give a .... if it still leaks :lol:
