Hi, I was changing a syphon on an old Ideal standard close coupled toilet yesterday and had a slight problem :90:. Due to the shape of the cistern none of syphons I had onboard would fit so I thought I would take the cistern with me down to my merchants to get one to fit. After getting a replacement diaphragm at the merchants (we couldn't find a new syphon to fit) Me and my helper went back to the job. Whilst we were in the merchants I noticed the side flush lever was no longer on the cistern so I asked the apprentice where it was as he had lifted it off of the pan and carried it to and from the van. He said he hadn't seen it so I presumed it was back at the job. To cut a long story short, after a long time searching this side handle had disappeared completely so im now left having to find a replacement. Ive uploaded a picture that the customer emailed me before I did the job and you can just about see the handle in it. I've suggested to the customer that im able to get a new side flush lever that's the same shape as the old one but the only ones I can find are chrome plated. Obvcourse he wants one the same as the old one in a matt white finish. So if anyone has one please let me know, I will obviously pay for it. I believe the suite is the old ideal standard capri but im not certain. Can anyone help?

The last image is the closest ive found to the original but its chrome and they want it to be the same as before. So if worst comes to worst I will have to foot the bill for the above chrome one to be enamelled to match the colour of the cistern!! P.S sorry there are no paragraphs, it wont let me use the enter button for some reason.

cheers Gas Man, I have already trawled the internet and ebay looking for a suitable replacement with no joy!

Is this near?

Your not wrong ray! How one can fail to notice or hear it falling out and hitting the floor on a five yard walk into a merchants is beyond me!
