I fancy treating myself to one of those little wall mounted, self leveling lasers.

Has anyone bought one recently, and can suggest a good model to buy or a good price?

I quite like the look of the little Makita one, which is about £150.

I realise it's late, so I prob won't get any answers!!

I have a dewalt one and use it mostly for downlights in kitchens and bathrooms. Brilliant bit of kit. The chalk line is sulking in the van.

3 or 4 years ago i was very quiet so was helping a sparky make of mine just bangging the chases and boxes in mainly and i got the dewalt one that was magnetic was perfect for lining 5 or 6 sockets if not more but once i got back to plumbing and the odd bit of tilling i much prefer a good quiality level so i sold it by the time its set up for one rad i have fitted it with a trusty level

great for tiles and sockets etc.....

if you checkout the tiler forum they have a number of posts and alot recommend the dewalt.

Cheers all. I think I'll go for the Dewalt one that Screwfix sell for £178.

I know I won't use it all that often, but I watched a video on Youtube last night, (after going off on a tangent from here) and I can that I would use one every now and then. Plus they don't take up much room.

I've got the dewault one on the which mounts to a pole or you can use it by itself can do vertical, horizontal or both togetheri use mine for bathrooms makes setting out much easier

What you gonna use it for, mostly?

Long pipe runs, bathrooms and the like.

The bloke I watched the video by was called 'Razor' (LOL) and he was a plumber. Looked like a useful bit of kit...I don't know.

I just feel the urge to treat myself. I also want the 18V Makita hoover. Only £40, I've allready got their batteries for some of my other tools, so why not!?
