Hi Guys :santa3:,

My first post so take it easy on me!

I need to replace a seized tap cartridge for a mono mixer tap. It has four holes in the bottom (rather than what seems to be the usual three). I don't appear to be able to attach images to this post.

I can't see the name of the manufacturer anywhere on the tap or cartridge but it does say 'France' and I believe the make may be Haute(?)

I'm just wondering if anyone can advise where is the best place to look for a replacement please?

Many thanks

Hi JimmyDee,

I have always found Lunns Tap Spares (google that) to have almost every type of valve and cartridge in stock impossible to know unless you have the cartridge to compare/measure etc but they are worth a go. If not then why not just replace the tap, they don't have to be expensive to be decent and are not a big nightmare to replace usually, then you get the new warranty too, if you order the cartridge and other parts fail on the old tap you'd be spending more anyway.

Always felt it was a shame that tap companies are obviously not proud enough of their manufacturing to put a makers stamp and a model number on the tap itself to make life easier, same deal with showers mostly, you have to become some sort of Sherlock Holmes!!

Good luck!
