Hi - can anyone help me, please. The plunger-type tap diverter on my bath is pretty well seized up. I am trying desperately to remove it so I can either descale it or replace it with a new valve. The problem is that I can't get it to budge. I have loosened the top part marked (A) in the photo and it is now loose but doesn't pull right out like I thought it would. I am trying to undo the bottom threaded part marked (B) but that won't turn either.

If anyone can give me an idiots guide to removing this diverter I would be so grateful.

Thanks in advance

Can anyone tell me what is description of the shower diverter in photo so I can look online?? A lot of these are described 3-way wherea my current one looks like it is a 2 way, in and out !!!!
I don't mind if it's the lever kind as opposed to the push-pull plunger one
