I need to disassemble this tap to repair the valves. But for the life of me I can't work out how to take off the knob caps! No grub screw, the top can't be prised off, it doesn't unscrew...
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!
I'm sure I've done some like those before.
The shiney part on the top of the tap head unscrews.
They'll be glued on with soap and other such substances.
Thanks All! We have several of these taps and I managed to find one that would unscrew (see photo). So, I've ordered a strap wrench and will hopefully be able to remove the other covers too. Your help is much appreciated! Thanks!
