Hi Friends,

Looked at a toilet that I was told was overflowing.

It's got a top push button flush - Siamp. It's another one you can twist off.

In looking at it, it's leaking into the pan, not overflowing.

I tried adjusting it, twisting off/on etc. but nothing.

Does it need renewing? Hard to know without seeing it I know.

The inlet valve is ok but it seems that the siphon isn't sealing to the bottom part.

Any thoughts on this one?

Also, basin thread to follow!

Thanks.

You can sometimes just replace the lower large rubber washer on siamp. Took one out the other day looked fine until I turned it over. Totally deteriorated.

Sometimes for a temp repair you can get away with flipping the washer over. Saves the customers water bill till you can return with the correct part.
