Uk NVQ 2 qualification

Hi I have done the UK plumbing exams and projects in Southampton 10 years ago I’m going back to this trade I gave the NVQ 2 level 4 I’m told is similar to the Irish qualification level 6 , also worked as an mechanic for 10 years and did the engineering exams years ago in production can I ask what’s best advice.
