Vaillant Ecotec Pro MK 1 combined gas heater does not keep temperature when using shower or basin tap. Boiler heats up to 65C, then a few seconds later turns off and temp drops down to 54C. Have tried different temp settings but no joy. Any idea about possible defect/fault? I have short video showing the issue.

Kitchen tap ok or problems also ?
Kitchen tap seems ok.
Kitchen tap seems ok. Can't tell if the boiler does the same as I can't hear it.
Tbh could be a few things and as the kitchen tap is ok could be the plate etc
I have tried adjusting the tap control knob down a bit but it doesn't seem to help at all. Plate? I presume that is something that a tradie would be called for?
Yes a gas safe engineer sounds like is required

Could be the diverter, or as Shaun says a few things. A blocked plate ime usually the temp goes up to 80 degrees plus.
thanks. Boiler heats to the set temp then falls. Most annoying when showering to have cooler water descend on you

One thing you could try is isolating the cold inlet for the hot water under the boiler, run a hot outlet and see if water carries on running.
