What a stupid idea. Is that so your tools are easier to knick and the back seat is unusable ? Had a ford ranger platinum - 2009 heap of cack. Didn't have a back on and used to put stuff in back get home it was either broken scratched damp or missing

I've had 2 got rid of swb at 105000 did had a power steering pump and got a lwb now on 89000 had a clutch couple months ago

Got two pals who have these. One had to have anew engine at 30000 miles the other needed gearbox at 50000.
Expensive german tosh.

Had mine 4 years , I got van from main dealer when it was 18m old and had 13k on it ! So far :
new clutch+DMF
1 glow plug
total mileage to day 85k

I think is how you drive your van too , + new engine or gear box will be covered by manufacture guarantee
