Van

The bigger the van then the more sh!te you carry about. Smaller van means you think more about what you have on board.

Your right, my only fear with having a small van is not being able to get a six foot rad in or a boiler.

Not done anything like that! Honest. 4m triple extension roof ladder and two rolls of AstroTurf! Oops

That's what I'm getting at though. The transporter would have cost me money, the vito didn't.
I bought a three-four year old vito for 5k. As much as I like the vw, without checking, you're probably looking at it being at least a 3k saving - I can buy another kangoo for that

I thought about dropping down to expert dispatch size last year. But a lot of my work is varied, bathrooms kithens etc. I can get a 3m length of worktop in my lwb vivaro at an angle, just Saves a lot of faffing around putting stuff on the roof rack, specially when it is pizzing down.

Been looking at precisely that, or ex BT or ex Royal Mail. Found the auctions where you can buy them direct
Don't ever buy a Royal Mail van first job when I left school was an apprentice mechanic for them. They get seriously abused by the drivers I was always changing clutches and doing body repairs. It was 27 years ago but I don't think things will have changed much.
