Can you get 3m length of pipe in transit custom?
Looked at one on the weekend but didnt pay any attention to the through loading hatch

Yes you can but it’s a pain if you have a SWB

Short piece of soil pipe, closed off at one end and slide the bits in. I had one at one side of the old relay for pipe offcuts and one at the other with my benders in.

Same for me. But not for the bender😉😉

You have to lift the flap on the hatch in the bulk head and it pushes under the passenger seat. Better off fitting a pipe tube mate, in my opinion.

Anyone got any ideas for off cuts of copper eg under a m long (storage)

Piece of soil pipe vertically screwed to something wooden. Drill 1 hole clearance size of the screw and 1 hole opposite to get the screwdriver through. 😉

I still cant decide between the Transit Custom limited and Trafic sport.
I prefer the Custom but everything I read talks about all the problems
I have looked at a few 50k miles trafics and vivaros to see how they wear and they dont seem to be lasting that well, but I guess they may have been abused.

2.2 and I get 435 to a tank on diesel. But I have got a pipe tube and ladders on top all the time.

Not yet. Apparently mine has different locks??? But who knows.

Does the 2.2 have a DAB radio? Or is it only the 2.0
I have been looking at a 16 reg 2.2

Mine is a 16 reg limited. DAB, electric window Aircon. It is the range I.e limited/Base that deals with spec not engine size.

Lucky you, got the transit custom sport - beautiful van but lots of software glitches - been in the garage 7 times in first year - strangely still really like the van
