Vokera Compact 24SE - red light on temporarily

Our Vokera Compact 24SE shows a red light when the gas is trying to ignite, which it fails to do, and then the red light goes back to green/flashing green a few seconds later when we turn off the hot water tap/heating thermostat.

Before we get an engineer to come and look at it, any ideas as to what is wrong?

Yes its goosed, you need a gsr. The big lad will be around shortly to rubber stamp it.
