Hi all,

I'm currently in the process of re-fitting the bathroom (full works) and I'm having a nightmare of a job trying to fit a wall mounted bath filler and taps - in part because the depth of the cavity is only 40mm so I'm having to build a false wall to take them (see previous posts). Will still have the problem of trying to square everything up once wall is tiled tho.... So my question is, do I cut my losses, stick tap back on ebay and go for a waste/overflow filler?

Had not come across these before I started on bathroom otherwise may have gone down this route to start with... 2 questions though (and please excuse my ignorance - I'm a DIY'er not a plumber🙂)

1) What kind of space/depth do they need on the backside of the bath? I know various models will probably be different but just after a general guide. Trying to get tech spec off bathroom sites seems nigh on impossible!

2) A lot of them mention using them in conjunction with shower valves and diverters. I will only be using it to fill bath so is it possible to just connect hot and cold flexis to inlets?

Cheers.
