Been retired now for 15 yrs so a bit out of touch with modern plumbing I recently had to call a plumber in to my combi as it needed topping up very regularly. I was not there when the job was done, all is now working. Having contacted the plumber he said he replaced the Fluffefl valve. Is he pulling my leg, as I have never heard of such a thing?

Are you sure he didn't say Caleffi? They manufacture PRV's (pressure relief valves) amongst other things. If it was loosing pressure it will be associated in one road or another with that I guess.
Maybe he had a mouth full of pie when he said it.
I do think Fluffefi is is funnier, I might start using that.

Have you nothing better to do than make silly remarks?
It was a genuine suggestion. Caleffi do make valves and there could well be one inside your boiler.
The pie comment was really just meant as harmless fun.
I realize that we are all restricted at the moment in our day to day lives but I do think we can still laugh?
