I have a insurance job to try and rescue a poorly installed quad shower the customer wants to save the tiling if possible and has a few spare so fingers crossed it may work , the loss adjuster allowed em £1500 that will just about cover materials. Kop

Getting this cracked off as normal nothing is level so had to run the pipes to skirting 😀

5 rads cracked off of 15 total so another day ish should be done the heating side (other than boiler)

Alot going on in this property kitchen revamp , utility upgrade new cloakroom , repointed externally , new windows, new roof on the front, decorative fireplace hearth and mantle , column rad , need to get away next week ??

I use long reducers eg 15-10mm

Carrying on the new wet room, but had to call back to an outside oil combi I fitted. Its losing pressure and it's my fault because the last boiler always held pressure.

I've been up before, over pressured checked all the boiler and all my new pipework. All dry.

So went up tonight, ripped open the wall below where my pipes come in. Bone dry.

But the bottom of the wall behind kitchen sink is wet.

Leak sealer going in hopefully get through to warmer months then kitchen wall to come out to find it. Kerching.

Anyone know what to use to seal around where an angled pan connector goes into the floor but the waste is 6” in diameter? About an inch all the way around? Not done one before

May do. But if I remember correctly they are a bit rigid.

Possibly but how do I stop it just falling straight through? Or is there a lip on the six inch?
