Knew something was up did think the filter may have been at fault leaking down the return pipe but obviously not, looks bad but it's was only lightly rusted and cleaned off easily the casing is zintex so all's good back up and running now. Kop

Is that not the boiler fcu under the boiler? Thought you did that kind of work?
Alot involved in this one bud all the electrics are being moved to accommodate fully integrated appliances and new units going in , boiler will be inside a unit hense why the new boiler is now on the back wall , a nest thermostat on a s plan to adapt aswell 👍. Kop

I took an old main Medway out and put in a Vokera water heater this week.
we were allowed for some reason tbh the whole lot only took 20-30 mins
Think the time frame is currently the same everywhere. Took me longer to fill out the paperwork.
Renewed mine this week, they only asked the newly qualified to find faults refresher was all pictures. Still unclear as to whether a high level termination is ok with the pipe turned in on itself apparentyl the regulations say its not advised and will be evaluated on case by case basis (i.e is it over a footpath)
Seems like it’s acceptable if the discharge can’t harm anyone and there are no other alternatives.
Looks really good. Nice to get pictures once the customers got their bits and pieces in.

Not soil fittings bud all Viessman genuine parts, the fittings are Ali powder coated with plastic internals the horizontal flue terminal was plastic .kop

I did kind of gather that mate, being a bit facetious. They do look like soil fittings though.
I did think they were to be fair. Only changed my opinion when I saw the stamp

What's the smallest you would go for a cloakroom?
I have a customer wants toilet under stairs. By the time I've sorted walls and doors I'm going to be left with 900mm long x 800mm wide.
I've looked at a 450mm short projection back to wall pan with concealed cistern going onto the other side of my 900mm length. Plus very small cloakroom basin.
