got a job to go to tomorrow
lady has had someone come to service her boiler,
after he left boiler was making what she described as a horrible rattling sound, then it tripped the rcd on the fuse board. She went on to say now every time she turns up the thermostat the rcd on the consumer unit goes plunging her flat into darkness.
i know she has a conventional heating system with a f & e tank in thre loft, from her discription the boiler is fine when it fires for hot water, but as soon as it fires for heating rcd goes
i'm wondering what on earth this bloke could have done,
the only thing i think of which would cause this is he's re wired the room stat, but why you would do that on an annual boiler service
any other ideas of what could cause fore mentioned symptoms so i'm not lost and stuck for ideas tomorrow
