Hi Jennie,Hi all,
I need to buy a core drill set (4inch, inch1/2, inch1/4) to use with my SDS drill.
What sets would you recommend? I'm after something reasonably good - probably diamond tipped. But reasonably priced.
Thanks everyone,
Jennie
Hi Jennie,
I hope you will have as well some sort of clutch on your sds otherwise it will rip your arm off.
Too right it does. I don't want to be flipped across the room by it.
I do not know what's the price range but I can recommend spectrum mbx5 diamond core drill set. It ain't cheap but i think good tools shouldn't. I think could get also some cheaper sets but do not know what's the quality like.I've always used my colleagues drill bits in the past. But now the time has come to get my own.
Don't waste Yer money on the rothenberger set, it will last less than 6 months of light use and look like a toothless hag! Better off buying a cheap set fer fifty quid off the pikey vans that go round the site and believe it or not, for a change the pikeys won't be robbing Yer!!!!!!!Rothenburger do a set for about £100 Plumbase usely have them in, depends how much drilling you intend doing had mine a couple of years & been OK.
