wiring Honeywell Y6630D Wireless Room Thermostat to betacom 28

Hey. I'm a bit of a novice at wiring stats up so could do with a bit of help.currently at the property is a Y6630D Wireless Room stat.I have installed a Betacom 28kw today,wired it all up as the instructions say,but cant get the stat to kick the boiler in when demand is on for heating?
Been told to use the 24v on boiler and not the 230v is this right ?
I have wired the boiler L N E from fused spur
piggy backed L N to receiver
Then from A on receiver to RT on boiler
Then from B on receiver to 24v on boiler
And removed link

could do with a bit of guidance guys

Sounds right to me

Did you connect a and b to the choc block you removed the wire from?

Have you paired up reciver and transmitter?

yea tried to but no joy.The red light keeps flashing on receiver and stat even when trying to pair them.do you know if there's a link i have to put in the receiver?

yea A from receiver to RT and B to 24v
RT and 24V on the boiler had the red link which it says remove in instructions

Have you pressed override to check if boiler works.

I would say you need to reset the reciver and pair again

If its flashing red. It usually hasn't paired up properly

boiler fires with link in .would you say the wiring is right how ive done it

if red leds flashing they are not paired, look here
