worcester 240

Hi guys,

went to look at a worcester 240 the other day, rads getting hot when hot tap turned on

instantly think diverter. got a replacement diaphram installed it but still the same. I can clearly feel the flow pipe getting hot as soon as hot water is turned on. heating is definately off

is there inner workings inside the diverter body that would cause this

anyone got any good diagrams to show how a diaphram diverter works underch and hw demand

sounds like diverter . did one a while back not a nice job

3 possibilities
1,diverter knackered
2,plate heat blocked resulting in a knackered plate heat and divertor
3,rare but can happen mixer tap or shower faulty chucking cold water up the hot pipe
