Installed base (also install base, install[ed] user base or just user base) is a measure of the number of units of a product or service that are actually in use, as opposed to market share, which only reflects sales over a particular period. Although the install base number is often created using the number of units that have been sold within a particular period, it is not necessarily restricted to just systems, as it can also be products in general. For products which are in use on some machines for many years, the installed base count will be higher than sales over a given period. Some people see it as a more reliable indicator of a platform's usage rate.
Installed base is not the same as the total number of units sold at any given moment in time (***ulative sales numbers), since some of those units will typically be out of use because they have broken, gone missing, or been made obsolete or replaced by newer versions.
Hi Everyone
Can you help please. The DHW on a28CDI is going very hot, and then the boiler shuts off for 10-20 seconds, and then fires backup again. I have de-sludged the system (twice), replaced the heat exchanger with a new one, installed a new thermostat, cleaned out the diverter valve...

Hadn't been touched for 25 years and it was properly goosed - the terminal box full of water and kept blowing the trip in the consumer unit.
Complete pig to change. The pic doesn't show it but it was buried in a nest of piping - could barely get grips onto it. Despite chiseling, the nuts...

We are looking to zone our central heating system into 2 zones. 1 for the central heating and one to heat the hot water tank via indirect coil.

We have a Worcester...

We just spent £3k+ upgrading our old open-vented system boiler system to a new combi condenser boiler (Viessmann 30kw) system which worked less than a week before the pressure dropped to 0 resulting in no hot water or heating. The plumber came and topped up the system saying it was "just one of...

Hi, I have just seen 2 Fatstrippa's installed at a place I often work at and am surprised at the drains smell since it was installed. As it's the quiet season for the business the kitchens are not being used very much so the daily maintenance is not being carried out and I appreciate this could...
