Looks ridiculous and it will airlock regular

Neil,

You might be surprised, once purged it may well not airlock, only having in your house would you know, but I am with you in spirit
having a pump so close to the water level with little or no head is bad, with regard to the workmanship some people will not comment
if they see it, those are they which might get close to fitting something near to this, an old git like me would go up there, lift the tanks and pipe
it in copper, but what do I know about my trade today, my trade is not there any more, it gone well and truly. Some people still have pride
in their work and would love to show it off, if this is a plumber who has done this then I rest my case.

Tate Gallery might buy it.

PS I wonder where the hot connection is coming from for the pump suction???

And then save up again to pay me to sort it out

That is the paint hit on the head for another year or 2

Why 28? Surely in times of such austerity shouldn't you be downgrading to 15mm so boiler gets less gas? That's how we explain under gassing

And the award for closest flue to an internal corner and a gutter downpipe in a single install goes too.....

And leading to the award winning terminal.
Originally neatly concealed in boxing with access hatches......

An entirely unsupported flue without the mi required constant 1.5º fall.

Customer complaining of warm water through the cold taps. All cold fed from balanced outlet.

You couldd feel the heat waft out of the airing cupboard as you opened the door.

Well I won't worry about cleaning the condense trap then.

It's got a cage round but should it really be below ground?

The customer is in dispute over various other issues. The heating has been coming on at night, the engineer sent round to sort the issues changed the Honeywell programmable stats for Danfoss ones and then set them up wrong so the heating was set to 22° over night. There could be reverse circulation issues as the hot water return is teed in in the wrong place, before both heating returns. There is a TRV in the bedroom where the stat for upstairs is fitted. The engineer has written in the logbook that the system was flushed with clean water before adding X100 because it is a new system. That clean water will dissolve the flux residues and grease in the radiators well! It's 10mm plastic as well so should sludge up nicely in a few years.

The customer is a chartered surveyor so has puulled them up on loads of issues, airbricks below ground level, gradient on front path too steep. He is also working for some of his neighbours due to issues with missing insulation in roof voids and cavities etc. He's like a dog with a bone. It's quite fun working for someone who wants you to find as many faults as possible.
