Hi all, would appreciate a little advice...
I need to replace this shower as I believe the mixer is broken and is allowing the cold feed to over power and dilute the hot feed, which affects the rest of the house.
I don't think it is a thermostatic shower valve and would like to replace it with one, trouble is, I'm struggling to remove the damn thing.
I have isolated the water
Cut around the silicone
Removed 2 grub caps and allowing me to remove the 2 handles
Removed the separate shower hose
But then when I unscrew the connector for the main riser bar it gets to a point that doesn't unscrew anymore and gets tight on the thread pushing the whole unit away from the wall a little bit before clicking round and releasing it.
Should the riser bar unscrew separately or is it just pushed into the connection?
I can't find a name on the valve anywhere so have no idea what make it is.
TIA
