I have a problem with a large restriction that's caused by the pipework config I think, but I'd like to know what everyone else thinks.
There is very poor circulation from a 38kw Ecotec installed 3 years ago, which is down to restrictions in the cold feed and flow upto the pump. I'm going to repipe that blocked part but don't want to have to do it again in 3 years. There must be 10m of head on the boiler and the pump is set at 3. It's a big house with 15 rads and cylinder.
I'm wondering if I should combine the c/f and o/v or if I should move the o/v off the T and further along the flow pipe. I've had problems with o/v coming off the T before but those system didn't have the head this one does.
The blue line shows where the restriction is and I'm going to cut it all out and replace.
Thanks for your thoughts folks!
