Hello. I have a little problem with my integrated washing machine Unfortunately it overhangs the rest of my units by just a few mm.
To create a bit more space, I've taped the pipes to the side of the washing machine. See pics here:

I know this isn't ideal but...
Hello,
My landlord just bought a new Beko machine (Beko WTG721M1W Freestanding Washing Machine, 7kg Load, A+++ Energy Rating, 1200rpm Spin, White at John Lewis & Partners)
He got a plumber to install it and last night I tried a first wash (after cleaning the drums like specified in the...
We moved in to our house 4 years ago. Previous owners where there for 7 years, and bought from new.
Yesterday we had our washing machine replaced. Couldn't believe my eyes once they had got the old machine out. Take a look at the photo. Shame our washing machine didn't pack up two years ago...
Hi everyone,
I re-arranging my kitchen and would like to install the washing machine with the following setup. I will cut a trench in the concrete below the wooden floor to fit the hose for the waste.
Do you think that would work?
Thanks for your help and advice. :)
Hello all, first time poster here, I have looked but don't see this issue mentioned.
My old washing machine inlet pipe was leaking, not surprising given it was over 30 years old. It looks to have been a slow leak from the meeting between the rubber pipe and plastic connecter at the machine...
Hi,
I've recently moved into a house with this waste trap (pictured) with twin spigots. As you can see the spigot on the left is already in use with the boiler of all things (?) so I'd rather not mess with that.
The washing machine is now installed (after I took this picture) and uses the...
Hi all,
Hoping somebody will have come across this before.
Clothes I have washed are coming out of the washing machine greasy. Almost as if they have oil on them. This has started happening in the last few weeks. I got a washing machine cleaner from Tesco and that made it ok for a month or...
Hi
Would like to extend this hose to a total of 3.2m (which is ok in the manual)
Can I route the hose down to floor level (so as to go underneath the oven and cabinets etc) before then coming back up to connect in to the sink? Or is that not allowed / would cause problems?
Thanks! :)
Current issue is the Washing machine is filling with dirty water when not used for a few days.
Washing machine in the kitchen and a few months ago the kitchen sink kept having some drainage issues, that seem to be from further down the pipes then you can get too. unscrewed some plastic pipes...
Hi all,
This is my first post here. How do you do?
I was wondering if anyone may have ideas on this issue. We're just trying to connect a washing machine to an under-sink water pipe valve, and we're finding a strange behaviour.
With the washing machine on, when the valve is partially open...
Hi everyone I am needing some advice around a new washing machine. The waste hose as shown is wider than the previous one. I have attempted to remove the attachment where the previous hose went to replace with a larger attachment from screwfix but it seems to be impossible to remove. Does anyone...
Hello, I'm preparing for my new washing to arrive and trying to disconnect the old one. I'm having problems turning the hot water valve off. The red lever won't turn either way like the blue one does. Do I need to get a plumber in or should I leave it for the delivery guys who are going to...
Hi there. Just moved in and noted the waste from washing machine backing up into sink. Attached is the current configuration...
Was going to ask would it be a case of putting the T/washing machine on the current upright next to the wall and connecting the rest after it as it is ?- is this...
A young girl called me to her small ground floor flat to investigate a really bad sewage smell coming from her bathroom after she uses the washing machine which is in a cupboard next to the bathroom. She said the washing machine and bathroom have been there since she moved in 3 years ago and...
Are some washing machine hoses better than others? Will soon be fitting a washing machine and for the sake of a few quid, spent on a better hose, would like to get a reliable one. All you see in Screwfix, Amazon etc look very similar and would assume of same quality. Most are blue, or red, but I...
I've got a customer who wants 2 washing machines and a dishwasher plumbed in on the same waste pipe. This is in a conservatory and a 40mm waste is currently doing 1 washing machine is it feasible to put the extra machines on? The waste pipe disappeares under the floor with no access to it, the...
Hello,
I've been trying to find out what a 'EO8' code means on a Hoover Washing Machine (Model: DYN8144 DIX). I've contacted Hoover directly and they won't tell me other than it's 'a motor problem' and want to charge me a fortune to call out an engineer and trying to sell me a new washing...
Simple(ish) question I hope. I'm trying to put in a second washing machine, but there is only one blue cold water connector. I guess that I should be able to attach another one, but the mass of pipes behind the washing machine makes no sense to me. Can anyone work out from this photos whether...
was replumbing my mums new washing machine in for her - lives in a wee old peoples fold and notices the standpipe isn't there just a hole in the floor and the hose sorta pushed into it (now at least I know where the awful smell is coming from) is there any way to put a standpipe in or an adapter...
I installed a washing machine yesterday, connected the inlet hose to the wall, turned the tap on and turned the washing machine on, got an E33 error message. I looked up the error code and it says water pressure issue. So I disconnected the pipe from the washing machine to check there was water...
