Advice on replacing with a new riello burner

im looking to replace this burner but is this easily done with a new modern riello burner or would you recommend replace with like to like? I hate these shutter manual fan.. I would prefer to replace with the new riello burner if possible but the firebird boiler has a latch case that can't be removed would this be an issue?
