Hi

After phoning two plumbers to come and rectify my leak, both who failed to turn up, thought i'd ask here to see if i could fix the following myself.

Has anyone heard of a HBP pipe connection? ...... I'm told its an old version of a HEP2O connection is this correct? I have a copper pipe connected to a plastic one using this connection behind my sink and its leaking.

I was advised on another board i should be able to disconnect it using a hep2o demounting tool ........ however i bought one of these, clipped it round, but then what am i supposed to do with it?

I'm wanting to disconnect it as its leaking so was hoping to get rid of the HBP connection and fit a HEP2O one.

Any ideas?
Thanks

I think this is the old HEP20, you need to push the tool into the fitting and give a really good tug at the same time.

however make sure you have the water turned off, could be a massive flood otherwise.

Phone a third plumber. But get his number from a recommendation from a friend or family member who has used his services.
