Bit of a rant with a happy ending

I always carry in van , about ten letters that offer our commercial services

any how today mrs wanted to go shopping to pick something up for holidays, whilst we're down there I say ill just nip and post a few of these and meet you back here in 30.i don't do shopping.

theres a chippy on end of estate that's open so I thought ill drop one in there , we cover weekends you never know your luck in a raffle as they say.

so I asked for manager now please bear in mind I'm in my work t shirt which is logo ed up.

she immediately turns round and says we've no jobs and don't buy over the counter . I turns and looks at my big massive van parked in front on her window again all the logos are there

so I held this letter out and she turned her back , then came back you'd of thought I was handing her a bag of hot dog poo or a live bomb.

Bloke sticks his head out of back kitchen " what's that mate " I'm commercial gas fella , look after a few chippy s thought I'd drop my number in . He comes out shakes my hand bit of a chat long story short am going Thursday at 10 to service some bits.
