Got a call last week for a triple bathroom install, went and quoted and got the job (me and Kev), the custard told me yesterday that our quote was £400 more expensive than the other quote he got but we made a better impression on him than the other guy.
The job is spread over two weeks and we will make a decent butty from it, the other guy said he'd manage it over one week and do his own tiling, a stupid custard would have jumped at the cheaper quote, but every so often one comes along like this and you do whatever you can to keep hold of them.
As long as she doesn't offer to pay you 'in kind' this one's a keeper 😀
