Hi guys what way do you find best to cut copper pipe to solder onto when they are too close together or too close to a joist to use your pipe slice

Easier to just saw and remove the joist...theres plenty more either side. Im kidding !!!

Junior hacksaw and then file the rough edge off if just one pipe to join to.
Or if 2 pipes, then junior hacksaw first pipe and then cut the second longer using a pipe slice so no pipe in the way.
You could try a multi tool I guess, but suspect they leave the pipe rubbed rough

Hacksaw blade taken out of frame and reversed so it cuts on the pull stroke.

Use a joist remover, Petrol and a blow torch would be my first choice. Failing that as above multi tool with a metal blade.
Please don't use petrol. lol

Ive always thought of bying one of those Dremels, , i can cut copper with my battery makita oscillator , although its not a pretty cut but the dremel with the rotary attachment could be handy ,

Hacksaw blade with tape wrapped around the end. Get the lad to do it!
