Hello all
I have been asked to quote to improve drainage at a property.
It would appear that at some point in the past the layout of the downstairs of the property has been switched around taking the kitchen to the back and bringing the lounge and dining room to the front. Whoever did the kitchen install has done an appalling job with the waste pipe and has run best part of 15m of waste pipe in 1.5" with not much fall. obviously I know that this length is ridiculous however the only soil pipe is at the front of the property. In addition about 8 m of this pipe is hidden behind kitchen units.
Now i'm not looking for a bodge here but I'm just wondering if I have any alternatives to pulling out all the kitchen units and re-piping and obviously upsizing the waste pipe accordingly. My gut feeling is there is no sensible way to do it other than having the entire kitchen out. I did mention it to RPM in the hope that there might be a pump suitable but it would appear not.
Any thoughts would be massively appreciated many thanks Matt
