went miles to serice a lpg raburn last week, gave it a good clean, changed thermocouple and tested pressures etc found min rate too low at .7mb but still just working. tried blowing through solenoid valve and babysit to resolve issue to no avail, so advised custard it needs new gas valve, and probably the lpg tank valve and pigtails looking at the state of them. Got told no, not worth it as we are selling up.

So drove home and got the call today, its not working, min setting goes out!!!!! ooh surprise, so what am I going to do about it. I queried his memory as to my advice, ie its been serviced but needs some repairs as well!!!, his reply, you serviced it, it should work.... ho hum they never listen do they

You can't do anymore than tell them, the sole reason I always give a certificate no matter what with every service stating any deficiencies or problems.
