lame plumber

coring through 27 inches of solid concrete block today to instal 11/4" waste for condensate drain to outside, using my old knackered sparky, clutch slipping etc and got healf way through when bang, the drill didnt fail, just the core drill, it decide to snap leaving the whole core in the hole and all the I got out was the shaft end 🙁
So started from other side with 11/2" core, going great till I caught the jammed core and then the bleedin slipping clutch decided to fail to work and dam nigh removed my arm. Sad plumber 🙁 So got cross, out with the sds and puched out the jammed core, felt like a happy plumber then 🙂

Then got the call, hi can you quote me a new heating system, to go in before Christmas, ok says me, see you Jan 5th, should give me enough time to do get it on with it before Xmas, funny but they put the phone down on me ...............

Got home, wifey drags me out to Mole Valley Farmers, agricultural merchant / shop, brilliant, free hog roast, mince pies n cream, coffee and mulled wine....... spent £300 on things I didnt really need, so what its Christmas 🙂

starting to get into the spirit of things now, firms xmas party ? I'll take the lab down the pub next week 🙂

forgot to mention, arrived at custard pm, they werent in, so got my "i called but you were out postcard" fm the van, door slammed shut and locked with keys on seat.................. 3 mile walk home to get spare........ wife wasnt in for 20 mins, she was walking the dogs.......... ho hum

New clutch for one £24. The upgraded ones better.
If you want me to get you one let me know as place is only 1/2 mile down road and there easy to fit.

not sure if its just a clutch, I couldnt move the hammer/drill switch so stripped it down, lots of washers n shims fell out, rebuilt it back and its been working ish since, twas only the 1100w sparky.

So glad I sold my Sparky core drill to Redsaw 😉

its working brill very happy with it thanks, done a fair few holes so far and clutch only clicked once or twice albeit when trying to guide the 117mm sideways a bit to widen hole.lol
