Drinking water taps etc

Does anyone know where I can get fittings for the blue/red pipe found on drinking water taps, filters etc? My merchant has none and said he can't get any!!!!!

Is it 12mm by any chance if so caravaning shops are best

3/8 and 1/4 seem to be the sizes I find

Good aquatic shops sell it for fish tank filters etc.
