O

Old Account

hi lads,

I thought I am going to share with you all my success especially after such a long time waiting for it.

I am officially allowed to install gas appliances and being able to do land lord gas safety checks.

I received today an email after registering with gas safe saying I am allowed to work on gas appliances, obviously I’m on a probation but feeling confident.

I just wanted to vent and let you know.

Regards,

Ron

Well done
Don't forget to get public liability insurance to cover gas wirk
Oha, haven’t even thought of it. What type of insurance have you got? I currently have something from corgi ... how much should I have ?

Thank you all for your wishes ... I definitely will be here more often in the gas safe forum whenever I will get the allowance.

Just forwarded my gas safe number to @ShaunCorbs so hoping is going to do it today.

Sometimes you scare me Ron, you saying you`ve been doing plumbing without any public liability insurance? Then you mention Corgi who no longer exist.

No no, I have got public liability without this it doesn’t work. But you may need to increase and that’s why i was asking how much you all have got. Will be a 2mil be enough?

But corgidirect does exist and have got an insurance with them.

Higher, much higher. Don`t forget Hot work!

Of course I have an account I also do my tax returns as everybody ones a year Accordingly

An account and an accountant are 2 different things Ron. (you starting to sound like Shaun with your shortened words lol).

Ah Corgi direct, not quite what you said (see above and short words).

Sorry rpm,

I am going to upgrade to 5mil now anyhow. Yes, I should not have cut all the sentences... however, I meant corgi direct sorry my bad.

I am just confused now with the analyser as I am pending between testo 320 or 320b ... I phoned them today and they said 320 would be the latest version and has the better quality. I just can’t decide which one to buy. The 320b model you could do the letby and tightness test but the 320 won’t work as far as I know.

Also the temperature things you put around the flow and returns are a little bit cheaply done to be honest. I was thinking about the clamps but they don’t do them here.

I am a bit confused what to get ...
