Ray Stafford

Part 2 of the Christmas freebies as promised.

Rules are the same as on this thread

Plumbers arms members only - people who have received a freebie (or claimed one earlier tonight) and not yet posted a review are not eligible. Bod and Rodolphe still not eligible. 🙂

Redsaw gets the first one, because he backed out of the earlier freebie when he realised that it was a product he already knew.

I have 5 in total, so the next 4 eligible people to PM me with a snail mail address get the freebies. If you PM me without an address, you don't get a place in the queue! (cos thats quicker, and therefore cheating!)

The product is the IntaKlean magnetic filter - [DLMURL="http://www.intatec.co.uk/product_groups/intaklean-magnetic-filter"]link here[/DLMURL].

Its around £20 - £30 cheaper than better known branded alternatives - I don't want to post a trade price in the open forum, but will in the arms if anyone is interested.

Big thanks to Richard Proctor at Inta for organising these freebies. :santa3:

On your marks...

None taken DP.

There's no point in taking something you have no use for, just because its free.

I can persuade manufacturers to keep this up, only so long as we get active reviews on the forum. Their benefit is getting exposure for their product, which they won't get it its sat in your garage.

just summat i want ? need ? like ?
dont wish to sound ungrateful or anything
guess let those that want it or need it for job have it
if ray offers something i want etc i will pm him.
no offence meant

Fairplay mate. Rays sorting me out with something I need for a job, probably something that others may think daft, but we all have different needs.
Come to think of it, a magnetic filter would go down a storm on eBay, hmmmm......

And destroyer gets the last one! On the basis that he promises not to PX it for his freezer kit.

Freebies gone for tonight.

Stick it on a account somewhere and wont have to pay for it for a couple of months. What price you been quoted

none, was just checking ebay. not sure about rothenberger even looks better but kind of like freezemaster, nevermind, its on my dream of list 😀 together with thermal imaging camera, haha

Suggest that you look at and pick up a freezemaster before buying, I have the 610D works on pipes from 8 > 60mm it does the job but very heavy to carry also the freeze heads are too big for the small jobs like isolating radiators.

Also must be run at least once a month if not used so a good memory is needed or you have a fairly expensive re-charge, in fairness they do say this in the instructions and inside the lid.

A good piece of equipment but make sure you get the one that suits the majority of the jobs you want it to do.

Never used one, I just read some comments on Rottenbergers that have problems. Anyway, not planning buying one in near future. Haven't got any money now. When time comes, I will seek more advice.
