Generic Barbicans

Does anyone know if there is such a thing? As barbican basins are quite expensive, I am in need of a cheaper version.

If not, can you get a toilet cistern that has a basin built into the top of it? I have a toilet room with not much space for a hand basin so I am in need of an idea. Any suggestions welcome. I was thinking of a concealed cistern and mouting a basin on top with waste just dropping into this?

Or alternatively, Eastbrook do a basin thats just 216mm deep in their Kompact range. Just put one in our cloakroom at home.

Awesome thanks Ray. I see in one video they do a kit which converts top into a basin and diverts the fill to the tap so you can wash your hands and fill the cistern.

Ideally, I would like to box the cistern in and sink the basin into this. A nice neat finish.

216mm is good. I shall have to have another measure up

The client says 216mm is a tad too deep so the eastbrook one is out.

I fitted a concealed cistern unit with a back to wall pan and basin in the top. Horrible thing to pipe up and not that easy to use because of the toilet in the way. Can try and find you details though if you want.

I searched for Rodolphe - he appears part way through the thread talking about importing them.

He hasn't been on for a while, but he isn't far from you - Sutton area I think. Might be worth a PM to see if he has a sample in the garage...

Wow what a memory you have Ray. I shall pm him in the morning and see what the crack is. Funny, when all along it was my subconscious knowing there was a basin like this, when I actually thought I made up the idea myself
