Benadryl Plus are only things working for me that I can still work and drive on. £6 for 12 though and you're only allowed one pack at a time.
My nan also gives me the ones she gets from hospital but man alive they knock me bandy
some times when mine is really bad I take my loratadine with cold and flue decongestants its the same as taking benadryl plus which is an antihistamine like loratadin (although not loratadine) and pseudophedrine which is a decongestant that stops your nose from stuffing up and running. a lot cheaper than the brand name pills.

Loratadene for me. Try to take 1 every day from April to September. It tends t work that well that you think you are ok. So you stop for a few days only to find the runny nose, sore eyes and throaght comes straight back.

I have started suffering from hayfever again this year after going 15 years without suffering apart from 1-2 days a year when I used to help shifting all the haybales into the shed. I'm just using benadryl allergy relief and thats working quite well but I'm not getting it too bad.

Re : Catching some of that Pollen , I've always been dabbing a bit of vaseline on Nose , some one explained this year , that may be helping trap some of pollen . (Taking cheap non drowsy pills early ) ... and now treating vaseline as a preventative - rather than After nose as red as a Clowns Hooter !

only thing that does for me is the pollen from ripping ivy off my fences, cant see or breathe after doing it!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the nipper squealing at me now,"I'm out of hay fever tablets!"
He's in the shower now, gobbing and blowing.
"Tuff, pal."

If you eat locally produced honey then it helps you build a tolerance to the pollen. Also, the nasal sprays are more effective, but you need to take them daily regardless of symptoms for them to build up and work.
