Anyone else suffering out there? And what pills are you popping for it?
This year seems to be the worst for a long while. I actually think the pills are making it worse too. Roll on the winter!!
I have taken cetirizine hydrochloride but although effective I did find it made me slightly drowsy. Loratadine is my go to pill also known by the brand name Claritin. You do have to start taking it ahead of the season as its affects are ***ulative. Beconase nasal spray helps with the runny nose and sneezing. In my experience having suffered quite badly with hayfever since I was about 11 blowing your nose is bad, sniff lightly if you can, or keep your nose blocked mop it up and breath through your mouth. If you blow your nose you clear it for a fresh dose of irritant pollen and you iritate the nasal passage ways. Then you just end up endlessly violently sneezing streams of snot and mucus and it ends up in your sinusses and your eyes start running worse and then your throat itches your toung gets dry and thick and then you die.
Given your response to my post its a distinct possibility. You really think I am going to die?

some times when mine is really bad I take my loratadine with cold and flue decongestants its the same as taking benadryl plus which is an antihistamine like loratadin (although not loratadine) and pseudophedrine which is a decongestant that stops your nose from stuffing up and running. a lot cheaper than the brand name pills.Benadryl Plus are only things working for me that I can still work and drive on. £6 for 12 though and you're only allowed one pack at a time.
My nan also gives me the ones she gets from hospital but man alive they knock me bandy
If you eat locally produced honey then it helps you build a tolerance to the pollen. ............
