Hi Guys, Bogman here. I'm new to the forum and would appreciate a bit of advice regarding my Hot Water cylinder which has started leaking from the bottom underside. It is an Ariston Contract STI 210 Indirect with an Immersion heater. Do i have to replace the entire cylinder or is there a gasket on the bottom of these boilers that can be replaced. Due to the leak an urgent reply would be appreciated!! Thanks Guys in advance

Might be the immersion seal leaking or something, cylinder is probably pretty old so maybe just change the whole thing

Unless you see something obvious leaking, - like immersion seal, you will have to get the cylinder replaced. As said, if it is old it was better all replaced anyhow for to give you trouble free years.
You need a G3 qualified person to repair, service or replace those unvented units.

Isolate that cylinder straight away and drain it down if you can. Had one of these earlier this year and it ruptured from the bottom and flooded the owners flat for for an entire day as it is fed off the mains. If you can't drain it then as a minimum switch off the water supply to it and get a G3 engineer in adapt to get it replaced.
