Ps - can anyone answer me this?
can someone please explain how all the houses on my estate have flues less than 300mm away from opening windows on the external walls? Shouldn't this have been picked up on at the time they got signed off?
ours was less than 300mm from cooker vent, so they moved the vent across a brick, and denied they were at fault as they said the boiler was installed before the cookers went in. But the boilers wouldn't have been installed before the brickies made the holes for the windows?
Hi M2ARTY,
You are not going to resolve any of your issues with postings on this site.
Your situation seems to be an installation fault.
The only way you are going to get a firm resolution to your problem is to get the manufacturers of the boiler, or a representative of the boiler manufacturer, to give you a report on your installation.
If the MI haven't been followed, then you will not have any warranty on your boiler and when it comes time to change the boiler you will be up for big bucks for a competent installer to make it comply with regulations.
