Phone call this morning. Ideal isar he30 won't fire, it goes through a sequence makes two loud whooshing sounds that the custard said vibrates the case then it locks out to LF flame detection error.
I changed the ignition probe and rectification probe 6 months ago so I can rule them out.
Before I go is there anything common with these. I know they are utter cack and as this house has 7 dogs and reeks to high heaven I would like to be relatively quick hehe
Cheers lads.

Yeah that's what I thought. I was just praying it was something else. It runs below the kitchen sink. The kitchen floor is covered in dog cac :_(. I'm dreading going round.
Aren't these things prone to sludging up in the condensate?

They do seem to crud up a lot, I've done a few....the traps are rubbish and far too small IMO.

The condense trap is very prone to blocking, it is a really bad design. Take the sump cover off, carefully, to check. If blocked they can hold a couple of litres of water.

I think your normally better taking trap off first as per mi with a bucket ready underneath as if its blocked there could indeed be a good litre of filthy grey condensate.

If it goes in to the sink waste then sounds like it. I did 2 last week. One glow worm, one icos.
The last isar I did was backed up with condensate. Trap was piped in to the waste after the kitchen trap with appliance waste spigots. The blockage was in the waste t and not in the boiler trap. So be sure to check the whole condensate run.

The only problem with removing the condense trap is getting them to seal again. The outlet spigot corrodes and they won't seal. I spent ages on an Icos trying to fit a new trap. Wouldn't seal up. Evan after hack sawing the bottom of the spigot off. I've never known a manufacturer to tell you in the instructions to hack saw off part of the appliance either. Just shows you how bad they are.

I looked after quite a few of these on a contract and the ignition generators are prone to weakening causing them to light with a bang.

Condensate was Completley blocked. Sump was full of water. I don't service these I only do breakdowns for this contract but apparently it was serviced last month. LOL 🙂 it looked like the contents of a volcano in the sump.
