Hi, I had a new Worcester Bosch 29 CDI Classic installed in Feb 2013. The CH pressure was set at 1.5 bar. It has run perfectly, with no pressure loss, from then until Feb 2014, when I had the first one year service done by a Gas Safe Worcester Bosch registered plumber. He didn't do a very good job, he spilt the condensate all over everywhere when he emptied the trap out. He had just got a new analyser gas meter, and did not know how to use it properly. It now loses ch pressure, about 0.2 bar a day, but its getting worse. I have topped it up regularly, and cant find any leak. I wonder what else he messed up to cause this pressure loss. I have put a piece of toilet paper up the end and tied a plastic bag over the pressure relief pipe outside. It stays dry.
Anyone got any ideas?

Its so easy done by home owners , or to not fully close the filling point, its the usual one you drive your car out of a garage and the next day it breaks down coincidence,, not sayin he didnt bob im just lookin at different angles mate

ou're being a bit harsh with the condensate buddy, every one has had a spillage with It on occasions and its not alien blood.
Have you checked all of the radiators in the house to ensure no leaks weeps or seeps from any of the joints?

The first mistake was getting a Worcester fitted the second was having an accredited con artist in...... Just kidding...well kind of,

there isn't really much that could be a direct result of a service but if you weren't that confident in him and his workmanship it might be worth getting someone else in.

It might be something simple he did/knocked/didn't tighten or it could be a pinhole in the heat exchanger and it leaking out to the condensate waste.

if it's major I'm sure it'll be covered by warranty anyway

Why not ring Worcester and tell them what's gone on with one of their registered engineer and explain all to them, I take it the boiler is still under warranty
and the Benchmark document was completed by the original installer. BTW it may be nothing to do with the boiler so beware if Worcester turn out and its not the boiler they may well charge you. Don't you want to get the chap who serviced it back ???? If not then maybe if you can't spot where the water is going then another engineer, where do you live, maybe a member of the forum lives close to you. No one ever puts where they live and there could be help right next door to you and you wouldn't know it. What was the idea of the toilet paper up the end of what, and do you know where the condense pipe goes.
There are two discharge pipes from your boiler, don't put anything over either of them until you get someone back to see what's going on, some photos might help us.

PS did the boiler service man go into any other parts of the house, if he stayed in the room where the boiler is then why would anyone suspect the water is going somewhere other then around the boiler area, just a thought?
