Anybody had any dealings with this company? They approached me and I stupidly fell for there sales patter. Broken promises and SHOCKING after sales service. Very rude and arrogant customer service team. Avoid at all cost!!

Yep! 1st mistake! There shocking! You know.. when you think something is too good to be true, it usually is!

Probably a bit too late Mate but anyone calling up out of the blue offering 1st page on google, guaranteed work for a fee, advertising on a police/fireman/ambulance service wall calendar is a scam artist. I get them all the time and just hang up, they get the message eventually, but they reappear with a new name every now and again..

Foxtrot oscar merchants. Usually get it straight away and ask what they are selling. At which point they normally say 'nothing', to which I reply 'so what do you want doing then?', they then give me the sales pitch. 'But you said you wasn't selling anything!, don't deal with liars, foxtrot oscar!'
Don't tend to phone me anymore 🙂 🙂

[TD="align: left"]Hi Gordon

A couple of months ago, I interviewed a dozen successful small business owners, who all had one thing in common....

Despite the recession, they were all growing their businesses.

Whilst all around them, others were going bust!...

So what was their secret? I wanted to find out, so I could share it with you.

It quickly became obvious that there was one thing these successful businesses were doing, that their failing competitors weren't.

They all continued to invest in the key areas of their business, whilst their competitors stopped and 'battened down the hatches'.

The vast majority of business owners, when faced with a recession, decide to invest as little as possible in anything. They cut back on everything possible, from staff training to van servicing. They also stop all or most of their marketing.

Even in a strong economy, a business with a weak infrastructure and no marketing is going to struggle.

In a recession, that approach is business suicide!

Think about it - the majority of your competitors will be following the herd and cutting right back on their marketing activity. By doing just the opposite, your business will stand out from the crowd.

Now is a fantastic opportunity for you to position you and your business ahead of other heating engineers in your area, and here's why.

When times are hard, and money is tight, your potential customers are actively searching for the best possible value for their money. This means that you need YOUR message to stand out and convince people that you are the one to provide that service and value.

Your existing customers may be hurting financially too. They will be looking for better deals and for ways to reduce their outgoings. You need to make sure they don't go to a competitor or simply drop your service, thinking it will save them money.

This is definitely not the time to forget about your marketing.

The New Year will present some amazing opportunities. The months ahead will be a time of great change and those with the vision and courage to adapt to these changes, will get the rewards.

Those that adopt a 'siege mentality' will be in big trouble.

Talk soon,
Dan

PS. You don't have to be a marketing genius...just being better than your competitors will do. And if they are all hibernating for the winter, then that shouldn't be too hard!

I had this call yesterday. Started out offering me half a page ad as the only gas safe engineer in the mag for £360 plus VAT or 1/4 page for £240 plus. When I said I'd think about it if they sent me the details in the post he offered me half a page for 240 plus. To get him off my back I told him I'd consider it if he sent me the information in writing as I don't enter into contracts over the phone. I thought that was it but the next thing I got a call from the printers to confirm my order and telling me that the call was being recorded and would constitute a contract. I once again said that I wouldn't agree to anything and would need to see all the details in writing before I agreed to anything. I thought that would be it but the salesmen rang me again to badger me and told me that he'd rung head office and told them not to contact any more gas safe engineers as I'd agreed to the advert. I again told him that I'd consider it if they sent me all the details first. He then got back onto the pressure selling again and I ended up telling him to F off.

Yeah I have dealt with these idiots. They are probably the worst company I have ever come across. They lied and said they would get me on Google, never did. I complained, didnt want to know. i then got all my money back from the bank, canceled my card (if you dont they will continue to take money oput regardless of weather you canceld your contract or not)
I then got calls saying I hadnt canceled the contract and I had to pay for 2 months, I told them I am not paying for a service I did not recieve etc. Told um I canceled and never heared from them.
5 months later I get a call from a so called debt collection agency called pj debt collections asking me for the money as i did not cancel bla bla. I asked if he was part of nem solutions and he said no pj collections are independant. Anyway, afetr a few phone calls, chasing me etc, I told him to email me, then unfortunately I never recieved an email, then unfortunately my computer broke then I told him Im fed up stop harrassing me......
I wound the bloke up that much he statred swearing and saying he would send debt collectors and "batter me" ha ha.
Strange behaviour for an independant debt collection agency, bottom line these people are jokers. Do not give them a penny!!!!!

i had one today telling me i had agreed to sponsor an anti grooming campain and which school would i like the books sent to when i said i hadnt she started to tell me that i had and she had the contract in front of her so i said send me a copy she then asked for my address duh
