Have recently had a spate of Ravenheats going to lockout. Turn up at the property reset the boiler, it fires straight away and works OK so no fault to find. Cleaned the usual suspects each time, pilot injectors, electrodes, ht lead connections, fan venture etc. But the faults keep reappearing. One have gone as far as replacing the APS, still without success.
Has anyone else noticed this on Ravenheat or any other make of boiler??
I do remember some years ago there being a problem similar to this and the manufacturers blamed Transco for adding glycol to the gas to prevent any water in the gas mains freezing. Transco for their part insisted that they did not.
I was just wondering if the problem had resurfaced or am I just unlucky?????
