Hi, i need some good advice. I need to know if i can convert the flue on a potterton suprema 50 from its current horizontal flue to a vertical flue. I have spoke to potterton/baxi technical help twice and had two different answers but they both said it can be done as long as the flue length does not exceed 3.4m (each 90 deg bend = 1mtr). It also has to be 300 from any openable door or window, 300 above the roof and 600 away from an adjacent wall (MI's say 210mm).
I did question it myself, thinking what about the condensation from the flue, will it not run back down towards the boiler??????
