Potterton Suprima 50 FF Inrfa-Red Mode?

Went out to the above boiler earlier on, the LED was flashing Red incredibly fast (almost constant red light). I dropped the PCB down and written on the side was the instructions to reset such a fault claiming the PCB had gone to 'Infra-Red' mode and to hold down the reset button for 10 seconds. After I did, it worked fine. Checked a few things, everything seemed to be ok. Anyone else got any experience of what this is?

I had got the M.I.s on site, but it only gave details for the previous PCB type, not the newer Siemans board that was fitted.

had a similar thing, intermitant fault which refused to occur while i wasd there, turned out to be a sticky solenoid
